The Orizontes Hotel in Santorini Greece
Perched on the highest point of Santorini island, and boasting a fantastic, spectacular view, the Orizontes hotel is probably as good a destination as any for a honeymoon.

It can get quite warm in summer, and somewhat chilly in winter, making both spring and autumn the best time to visit this island paradise.
The downside is that this hotel is a distance away from the town of Fira, a 6 euro taxi ride away, which means that dinner out will cost a little more, and require that extra effort. Those who prefer to be in the thick of the action, the restaurants and cafes, would prefer a hotel in Fira or Ia, but those out for privacy and romance would like the Orizontes.
