The Raffles Hotel was opened on 1 December 1887, a mere three-storey, 10-room bungalow. July 14th, 2007

The Arlberg Hospiz, located in the centre of St Christoph, holds an important place in the history of Alpine skiing, when the Skiclub Arlberg was founded within the solid walls of the Hospiz.

Beautiful sunset at Bali

July 11th, 2007

Bali Sunset by the beach

We’ve always known that the beaches on Bali boast some beautiful sunsets, and here is the proof.

Popularly known among the Australian young as a great vacation spot, with some beautiful waves, cheap lodging and lots of beer, it also boasts some luxury resorts, like the Como Shambhala and the Viceroy, which are excellent for honeymooning couples. Those looking for a less costly, yet still romantic place, consider places like the Kajane Mua resort or the Komaneka. A pool villa at the Kajane will probably cost less than a standard 4 star room on Fifth Avenue.Â
