Getting there by booking a flight into Montreal, which sees flights from all over North America. From there, you have an option of renting a car, taking the regular bus or hiring your own cab for the one hour drive to nearby Mont Tremblant.

Recent reports are out that Mont Tremblant has announced a $1 billion expansion plan spread over the next 10 years, the largest expansion program in a ski resort in North America ever announced.

Revealed plans focuses on developing Versant Soleil and Versant Nord in the same manner that Versant Sud has been developed and improved over the last few years. Plans are in the pipeline to build a 200-room luxury spa hotel, five other hotels, and 1,500 condo units in the pedestrian village of Versant Soleil. Expansion plans also foresee a 95,000-square-foot convention center for glitzy corporate events.
